---I got the fireworks video to work-- and had a chance to relisten to all of the stuff you recorded. I loved Bologna in the rain---and the music in Rome and Florence is so evocative. what an amazing gift you've given us. And I did get a kick out of a picture of you dressed exactly like Fabrizio in Piazza-- Brisbane is not Florence but we did take an amazing walk along the river today. I sent some pix. can't wait to hear and see Venice-- Mom

---Dear Matt and Liz, we are all caught by the power in your music, probably as much as you are by Italian food! We have visited your blog and found it so cute! Thank you for your kind words and for having introduced us in such a distinguished internet site! We wish you all the best for your stay in venice and your return to NY. Ciao -- Angelo+Cristina+Luli+Rachele

---Great idea to combine the music and pix (I'm in Bologna at the moment) -- really sets the tone, so's to speak. Have a safe trip back, -- Lorraine

---What a wonderful job you are doing! And I have to admit the food descriptions are making me a little nuts. The food in Australia is bland and pretty awful everywhere we've been! Send some pasta-- FAST!! love, Dad

just got my first chance to look at the site...very cool. Except you should tell Matt he should use a Q-tip because there is all this blue crap in his ear. Gross. I'm glad while I waste away (or rather the opposite of seeing as I am gorging myself on mac and cheese and milky ways) in the library I can listen to you guys having a blast in Italy...makes me really like you both a lot. Anyway sounds like you are having a blast, be good, hang onto your passport using your opponens policis and adductor policis brevis, OK? And keep that Median nerve safe! -- Carie

--- I LOVE IT. I feel like I am in Rome; then I realize I am at my desk and a wave of depression (not to mention hunger) sets in. Thank you for sharing your marvelous adventure! Have the BEST time, xoxoxo-- Ellen

---Hi you both. Have we been talking all day? for that's how we feel after looking and hearing to your binworld! its been a great idea to share your experience with us in a binaural fashion. And hey, dont tell anyone, but Gregorio wants to hire the Besame Mucho kid for cuchufleta! "From Chile to Italy through New York"

---Hey Liz & Matt, This is soooo great! Tracey and I were just in Italy and this is really bringing back some incredible memories. You're absolutely right...when you close your eyes and listen to the audio (or look at your beautiful pictures) its like you are actually there!!! Tracey and I saw the Besame Mucho Kid...how funny is that! Keep up the good work. I can't wait for more. Oh, and the fireworks video worked...it's awesome! Have fun!

---Buon giorno, Liz and Matt! I was just reading about your time in Rome and it is so exciting! Funnily enough, I ate gelato at the same gelateria near the Spanish steps – so awesome. If you get a chance, you should try the ‘fruit of the forest’ flavor. I don’t remember exactly what it was in Italian…maybe frutta di bacio? Anyway, it was one of my favorites, and is delectable mixed with one of the cream flavors. I bet you will love Florence- if you get a chance, there is a small town on the outskirts of the city called Scandicchi. (sorry, my spelling of these things is rusty). They have some awesome vineyards right off of the road that you can walk around in…and even eat some grapes! It’s a short and pretty bus ride that I highly recommend! Ciao! Holly

--- Hi L & M, Your trip is a trip. Your BinBlog was perfect for us to see and hear on this Sept. 11 day. I wish we knew how to beam those Jules Fisher Toweresque sky lights to you. It all works for us - you there, Jane and Bob in Australia and the two of us breathing Washington Sq. fresh air with a Barolo in hand.

--- Me and Susie are really into the binaural recordings. You guys have been surprisingly good at updating this stuff too. Which obviously means you haven't been drinking enough. Haha. I can't wait for Bologna -- yalls blog is really kinda like being there. Wear the microphones into the hash market! Susie will later translate the horrible things the men are saying to Liz. And remember: go to G&G, order two seperate dinners, then crotch-transport one of them back to the US. We're counting on you. You're definitely missed back here in the States. It's all "remembering 9/11" crazy round here. --Sean and Susie.

--- First I get all misty at the beautiful photos, then I lose myself entirely in the audio voyage. And then, when I'm ready to collapse, my appetite goes haywire as I read these fantastic descriptions! What's that word for overlapping multisensory experiences -- synesthesia?? neurosthenia? I know it's not anesthesia. These postings have the opposite effect: they are the most evocative travel blasts I could ever imagine. Oh, ribbolita, my favorite!! Will you make it for me when you return? Liz, I sent you a recommendation from Stacy for a great place right outside Florence.
love and kisses, /ak

--- Hey guys. It sounds like you are having a great time on your trip. By the end of the BMK recording I was laughing along with you. I love it every time the song stops and he restarts it. Liz, your description of the food is too much to handle. Bring some back for me. I hope Florence is as wonderful as Rome. Have fun! - Pete

--- The recordings are great and make me feel like I’m there. Frankly, I’d rather you find a technology that would let us taste the food. The sound is clear and loud enough. The bottle rolling across the ground was the most distinct of all. /hw

--- After 20 hours of flying, we're in our hotel in Brisbane, dazed but happy to be here and how nice to be able to read and listen about your trip. We missed a whole day by crossing the Dateline, but you seem to be packing ten days into every one! Just incredible. Will write again once I can see my fingers--! love, Dad

--- After 22 hours of flying no wonder I'm confused, what I am not confused about is how cool the binaural blog is. The pix are great but when you add the sound, it's reallly like being there! I love it.
